Iceland Gull, Dogsthorpe Tip

Located with many gulls in a field opposite Dogsthorpe Tip. A second calendar year like this stayed until the 7th May in 2005.

Brilliant find by Chris Lines on 25.4.09; the first stilt in the area since 1983 when a pair unsuccessfully bred on the Nene Washes. The bird was reported later as being present at Deeping Lakes LWT at 11am the same day. It wasn't present the next day unfortunately.
