Lesser Black-backed Gull @ Maxey Pits

This fine bird turned up on 7th August, favouring the same pit as a bird which took up residence in September 2007 for several days. With water levels low and suited to dabbling ducks, perhaps more records will follow.

Turtle Dove, Crowtree Farcet Fen
Like hens teeth this year. 1-3 present here since (inc. this one in the garden today) since mid-May and occasional other birds found this week in during my atlas wanderings.
