Found by Will Bowell on his birthday (6.10.06). The second for the area after a juvenile the previous day found by Steve Dudley at Farcet Fen sparked Will and Ray Bowell to scour the area and find this bird (right of the Lapwing).

Arctic Tern at Ferry Meadows

This individual has been hanging around for a few weeks now.

Little Stint at Ferry Meadows



This juvenile stint occupied the same small area of shingle on an island on the small Lynch lake for several days in mid-September. At the same time, Ferry Meadows also hosted a juvenile Black Tern, juvenile Arcic Tern and first-winter Mediterranean Gull.
