Yesterday's Rock Pipit spent most of this afternoon on the south shore of Gunwade Lake near the Watersports Café, giving great views as it fed on the shore in the sunshine.

Scandinavian Rock Pipit, Ferry Meadows

Found by Mike Weedon on the north shore of Gunwade Lake. The white outer tail feathers clearly mark this out as of scandinavian origin; likely in common with most of the birds that come through this area. This was the only acceptable shot from a batch taken in failing light towards the end of the day.
